A Week Before Vacation in the 3's!
First, We want to thank you all for the beautiful cards and thoughtful gifts for Valentine's Day! We feel so loved! We hope your little ones felt the love this week too! Sharing cards with friends, and having a special snack was so much fun!
Just a reminder that next week is February break, so there is no school. We'll see you all again on Thursday March 3rd.
During our morning meeting we read Plant a Kiss by Amy Krouse Rosenthal. It was about a little girl who planted a kiss in the ground and cared for it. When it sprouted she shared the love with everyone! When her "bowl was empty" she was sad. But she came back to the place she planted it and there was more love to share than before! This book has beautiful pictures, few words, and a wonderful message... perfect for a three or four year old!
What's NEW in centers this week?
Art- We used scissors, glue and stickers to finish the project we painted last week!
Easel- The children used heart stickers to decorate Valentine's wreaths
Math table- The kids used beads and pipe cleaners to make themselves bracelets. (Also, great for developing fine motor skills!)
Discovery- Using magnetic balls and connectors we made lots of imaginative creations.
We hope you all have a wonderful week next week, and we look forward to seeing you again in March!
Warmly,
Christina Renoni and Brenda Daday
