A Week in the 3's!
Good afternoon families,
We first would like to thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate our way through the Massachusetts and local board of health covid protocols. This is not an easy time, but if we continue to work together as a team and treat each other with grace, we will make it through!
This week we read We All Go Traveling By by Sheena Roberts and Siobhan Bell, which is a fun sing along book! We also read There Was A Cold Lady Who Swallowed Some Snow! by Lucille Colandro. In the end we realized she was putting together a snowman!
We repeated many of the activities from last week because we only had one day to explore them due to Friday’s snow day. But here’s a quick look at what our centers are stocked with…
Block Area- wooden blocks, monster trucks, unicorns, construction vehicles, little people, puzzles, giant foam pattern blocks
Math Center- The children used tweezers to put mini "snowballs" into snowman bottles.
Writing Table- gel pens, markers, crayons, winter stampers, snowflake and snowman papers
Sensory Table- red and orange plastic noodles, volcano, dinosaur figures
Pretend Center- stuffed animals, vet tools, bandages, pet food, pet medicine
Art Easel- stickers and snowflake papers
Art Table- winter coloring pages, crayons, markers
Literacy Cart- magnetic letters and matching letter mitten mat
We hope everyone stays warm and healthy this weekend. We look forward to seeing you next week!
Your teachers,
Christina Renoni & Brenda Daday
