April Adventures in Mixed Age!
Hello Families,
We had a wonderful week back at school. The weather was a bit windy but we were able to get outside and play each day. There was lots of digging in the sand, playing basketball and soccer and riding bikes. Thank you Jackson's family for the V for volcano kit they had brought in, everyone loved watching it!! Here is what else we did inside our classroom this week.
Math Table~ Number cards 1-10 and clothespins
Discovery~ This week we had slime at the table each day; Monday is was lime green and the rest of the week it was light pink/white. There were plastic bugs out for them to use as well.
Sensory Table~ We have put soil, pots, seeds, shovels and flowers in the table. We also have put fairy garden stuff in the table as well and of course gardening gloves to keep the hands a little cleaner :)
Pretend Center~ We have turned the pretend center into a Flower Shop. They have enjoyed using the phone to take orders and the cash register with money in it. They made some really nice flower arrangements.
Play-doh~ Is now pink with flower and butterfly cookie cutters and glass beads to decorate them with.
Art Table~ Rainbow Fish decorating and coloring sheets
Easel~ Dot Painting flowers
