April Adventures in the 3's!

Hi everyone,

We had a great first week back from April break in the 3's class!

This is a quick reminder that we have NO SCHOOL on Thursday May 12th because we get to meet with you all for conferences!

Our book this week was Lola Plants a Garden by Anna McQuinn. Lola plants a beautiful garden with her mother where she takes care of flowers and vegetables!

What's NEW in centers?

Art- We glued shapes (squares, rectangles, circles, hearts, rectangles) to create pictures.

Easel- We colored a garden with all the colors of the rainbow.

Math- the children used their pinchy fingers to help rescue "bugs" from the buckets with yarn criss crossed over them

Discovery- The children laced big beads onto laces and made snakes, fishing poles, and all sorts of fun and imaginative things!

As always, if you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to reach out.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Warmly,

Christina and Brenda
