April Adventures in the 3's!
Hi everyone!
We had a full house for a quick week in the 3's class! And everyone looked so spiffy!
Our book today was Shape song swingalong by Barefoot books. It's a fun book that makes learning shapes into a fun song and activity. Whenever we read it in school I have to apologize to my family for the rest of the night... it's a catchy tune that gets stuck in my head! You can look it up on YouTube for a read aloud!
What was NEW in centers?
Art- *AFTER* pictures the children had a chance to paint with celery! Painting with different things gives the kids a chance to explore, and maybe realize they like something they didn't know about before.
Easel- Dot marker flowers- making our own beautiful gardens!
Math- Busy bees! We identified the numbers on bee hives, and put the right numbers of "bees" in.
Discovery- Monkey Foam and number cutters
We also had lots of fun at the pretend center, block area, writing table, and sensory table!
We hope you have a wonderful weekend, and we'll see you next Thursday!
Warmly,
Ashlee Taylor and Christina Renoni
