April Arrives in the 3's!
Good afternoon everyone!
It's turned into a beautiful day, so I hope you all can enjoy the nice weather!
I also want to give a quick reminder that there is NO SCHOOL next Friday the 15th, or the following Thursday and Friday the 21st and 22nd for April Break.
The book we focused on this week was Planting a Rainbow by Lois Ehlert. Spring is springing, and we're "digging" in! We learned that things in the garden can grow from bulbs, seeds, or seedlings! And all together they make a beautiful rainbow!
New things in centers this week!
Art- The children painted their own gardens by gluing stems and leaves, and using flower stamps and corks to make flowers!
Easel- Dot marker flowers
Math- Using colored caps they sorted the colors and created pictures. The children used graspers with a scoop on the end to pick up "mini muffins" and drop them in the matching color muffin pan.
Discovery table- We matched up puzzle pieces with baby animals and their homes on them!
Literacy- The children had lots of fun with magnetic letters and numbers.
Please reach out with any questions or concerns you might have.
We hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Best,
Christina Renoni & Brenda Daday
