April Awesomeness in Pre-K 2!
Good afternoon Pre-K 2 families,
The children seem to be enjoying learning about Eric Carle's illustration process. We got to try out some new painting techniques again this week. Eric Carle's books usually have predictable text with each page having many of the same phrases. Because of this, I have been reading the story to them one day and having them "read" the story the next day. It is a great first step in learning how to read.
Mrs. G came to visit us again this week. She brought instruments and we got to play them to the Teddy Bear Song. This morning Mr. G came to read us a story outside. It was a beautiful day for a silly story on the playground. Thanks for coming!
REQUEST: We will be exploring coins (quarter, dime, nickel, penny) after our April break. If you have some extra coins that we could borrow, we would appreciate it. The amount that you let us borrow will be returned, but exact coins will not.
