December Excitement in the 3's!

Good afternoon everyone!

Usually you don't get emails from me on a Thursday, but this is a reminder that there is NO SCHOOL tomorrow, the 9th, because of conferences. For the parents of children who just started, you will get a progress report and have the opportunity to sign up for a conference in the spring. Also, next Thursday and Friday are our last days of school in December.

We had another visit from Mr. G today! He read A Visit from St. Nicholas by Clement C. Moore.

What was NEW in CENTERS?

Art- We made a special, secret art project today (wink, wink)

Easel- Penguin coloring page

Math- Treasure chest discoveries- using shaped keys the children were able to open up treasure chests to discover the treasure inside!

Discovery table- The children worked together to decorate a gingerbread house! Using icing and candies, they made it all their own!
