Enrichment News for This Week!
Hi everyone!
This email is coming to you today as a reminder that we don't have school tomorrow, or next week. We'll see you again on Monday, April 22nd. Also, April break is a great opportunity to wash backpacks and lunch boxes!
We had another week devoted to Superheroes this week! Our book was MAX by Bob Graham. Max is a superhero whose flying superpower hasn't kicked in yet. He learns to fly when he sees a baby bird falling out of it's nest. Instead of using his newfound superpower to catch "the thieves, crooks, and bullies", Max will use his superpower to help those in need!
What was new in centers this week?
Art- Our superheroes decorated their own masks!
Easel- And superheroes need shields, right?
Math- Counting superheroes and marking the correct number
Discovery- We needed to put the correct number of bees in their hive.
These things, along with blocks, pretend center, library, sensory table, dancing, and enjoying the beautiful weather, we had a SUPER week!
We hope you all have a wonderful April Break!
Warmly,
Christina Renoni and Julie Hayne
