Feeling Thankful in the 3's!
Good evening 3’s families,
This week flew by! We talked a lot about Thanksgiving and what it means to be thankful. We also got to spend lots of time outside in this gorgeous fall weather.
Our books this week were Bear Says Thanks by Karma Wilson and The Thank You Book by Mo Willems. Both of these books talk about friendship and being thankful for the people in our lives, and we hope this sparks similar conversations in your homes about these topics.
What's NEW this week?
Art- On Tuesday we made community table art with finger paints! Today we used watercolors to paint “Thankful” art that is now hanging up in the classroom.
Discovery - Animal habitat sorting. We are continuing our discussion about habitats. This week we are talking about polar and ocean habitats.
Math - Turkey clothespin number match. Each turkey has a different number on them (numbers 1-5). The children had to find the coordinating number and clip it onto the turkey to give him his “feathers”.
Easel - Lego corn art. We used legos to paint corn. Check these out on the bulletin board in the hallway.
Have a great weekend!
