Fun February Times in 4 Day Pre-K!

Hello Families!

I want to apologize for my absence this week- one of my children was home sick! I heard all the kids were great for the 2 subs they had though! This time of year is really rough for illnesses like the flu so if your child is feeling under the weather please keep them home so we can try to keep everyone else healthy! Show and Tell will be moved to Wednesday next week because I want to review "B" with the class on Monday before I introduce the next letter. Thursday February 13th our class will celebrate Valentine's Day! If your child wants to bring in valentines to share with friends that is totally fine- just please NO food! That night we will be having our Valentine's Day Dance at Jack and Jill upstairs in Fellowship Hall from 6-7 pm! As a reminder Jack and Jill is closed from February 17th to February 23rd for vacation! Here is a look at our centers....

• Art: paper plate bus, bubble wrap "B" and paper plate bears. The kids also got to play with shaving cream with Mrs. Lay!

• Discovery: Geoboards and building homes for birds

• Math: counting puzzles 

• Writing: "B" worksheets 

• Dramatic Play: Post Office

• Sensory Table: all things pink, red and valentines
