Happy Thanksgiving from Mixed Age

Hello Families,

We had a great two days together and even though our day was a bit different today they handled it pretty well. Everyone enjoyed our special snacks and they were able to get a special treat to take home with them. They performed their song for the other classes (although they got a little stage fright) and Mrs. Daday read all the classes a book. We had our Friendship Celebration outside but we ate our snack inside the classroom where is was warm.

Here is what we have out at the centers this week.

Math~ Numbered turkeys and feathers. They loved decorating the turkeys with the colorful feathers.

Discovery~ Magnet balls and sticks. These were a hit and the center was very busy, we will have to have them out again soon.

Art/Writing~ Turkey track painting using pipe cleaners and orange paint and free art using markers and fall stickers.

Easel~ Painting Turkeys using water colors.

All of the centers will be changing so when the kids come back on Tuesday they will get to see all the fun things that are planned for December!!!! Wow, time is flying!!!!!
