Learning in a Winter Wonderland in the 3's!
Good afternoon!
We've had an exciting week in the 3's class! Between the weather on Tuesday and having a visit from Mrs. T today, the kids did a great job adjusting to changes in our schedule! Ask your little ones about the songs, dancing, and stories we learned with Mrs. T! Here we are pretending to be melting snowmen.
Our book this week was Ten on the Sled by Kim Norman and Liza Woodruff. It was a fun way to learn about counting!
Our NEW centers this week were...
Art- Shared sled art- We worked together to decorate a drawing of a sled for all of us! Our art will be hanging in our classroom!
Easel- The children used watercolor paints to decorate snowflakes.
Math- Snow family number puzzle- We put a picture of a snow family together with the numbers 1-5 at the bottom to help!
Discovery- Building zoos, beds, and trees for the animals to climb kept our imaginations and construction minds hard at work!
We hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and we'll see you next Tuesday!
Warmly,
Christina Renoni and Julie Haynes
