Lucky Moments in the 3's!

Hi everyone!

We filled this week with rainbows, luck, and green fun! 

Our books this week were Pete the Cat: The Great Leprechaun Chase by James Dean, and How Do Dinosaurs Learn Their Colors? by Jane Yolen and Mark Teague. 

What was new in centers this week?

Art- Sponge painting shamrocks, and cutting practice

Easel- Scratch off shamrocks

Math- Roll and cover numbers in a pot of gold!

Pretend center- In our attempt to encourage spring to...spring, we have a flower shop in our classroom!

Discovery- We experimented with things that roll and don't.

We also brought some chalk out and the children were able to practice writing their numbers.
