Good afternoon, everyone! I hope you have all enjoyed your week so far, the weather has been absolutely beautiful! This week the class continued to explore the world of the Cat and the Hat, signs of spring, the letter S, and St. Patrick's day. The children are all excited for the coming holiday and are hopeful to find evidence of a visit from a leprechaun in the classroom next week; something tells me that they will! Everyone enjoyed coming up with leprechaun trap ideas today during morning meeting. Next week's letter of the week will be T. Our centers this week included:
Art table: the children made their own Cat and the Hat props and used finger painting and dot markers to complete a Ten Apples Up on Top activity.

The art easel included watercolor painting green eggs and ham pictures.
The discovery center: children were able to uses multi sized plastic cups and paper to build the cat's hat!
The veterinary themed dramatic play center and the playdough area remained very busy this week.

Mrs. Mackenzie and Mrs. Haynes
