More Fun in the 3's!

Hi everyone!

This week was all about colors in our class! We danced to songs about them, played with them, made art about them, talked about them on our clothes and in our classroom! And with the weather it looks like we're going to have this weekend, you might get to see a rainbow at home!

Our book this week was A Rainbow Of My Own by Don Freeman. We even made our own rainbow with scarves while reading it!

What was NEW in centers?

Art- We made rainbows with strips of paper, and cotton balls.

Easel- Dot marker rainbows

Math- Using tweezers we sorted fruit into colorful bowls.

Discovery- We experimented with instruments to listen to the differences in sound.

Despite what the temperature feels like now, spring is coming and there will be lots of new colors popping up! Ask your little ones about what they see!

We hope you have a great weekend!

Warmly,

Julie Haynes and Christina Renoni
