Moving Through March in the 3's!
Hi everyone!
We had lots of St. Patrick's Day fun in our class this week!
Mr. G came in and read us Pete the Cat: The Great Leprechaun Chase by James Dean. That Pete the Cat (and also Mr. G) is so silly!
We read Ten Lucky Leprechauns by Deborah Hembrook and Kathryn Heling. We heard all about the ten silly leprechauns finding each other in the woods!
What was NEW in centers?
Art- Coffee filter rainbows- We colored on coffee filters, sprayed them with water and colored in clouds, These are now hanging in our window!
Easel- Scratch off shamrocks
Math- Roll and cover Pot of Gold- The children rolled a dice and covered the number leading to a pot of gold with a gold coin.
These, along with our playdough, blocks, puzzles, writing table, sensory table, and fun times outside, it all made for a great few days in our classroom!
We hope you all have a happy and healthy weekend!
Warmly,
Ashlee Taylor and Christina Renoni
