Saying Goodbye to October in 4 Day Pre-K!

Hello Families,

First off I want to wish you all a Happy Halloween! I can't wait to see pictures of all the kiddos in their costumes. I apologize for not being there today as my daughter was home sick. The kids had a blast playing Musical Chairs and Zingo with 5 day Pre-K today with Mrs.Lay & Mrs.Kelly.

Our next "Letter of the Week" is C! As a reminder we are OPEN on Tuesday November 5th even though the public schools are closed for voting!

Here is a look at our centers..

Art: Paper Plate Spider Webs, "I Want To Be A ____ When I Grow Up", Plastic Straw Ghosts and Paper Plate Spiders. We also had a bunch of Halloween themed coloring pages at the easel.

Discovery: Shadow Shapes

Math: How Many Spiders Are On The Web?

Writing: A variety of "U" worksheets, books and "October" tracing

Books

-There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Bat

-Room On A Broom

-Clifford's Halloween

-What Do You Do With A Tail Like That? (Reading Street)

I hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween with their families. I will see you all Monday morning!

Mrs. Deighan
