Thanks For a Great Year in 4 Day Pre-K!

Hello Families!

I can't believe all 18 of our students graduated and are off to Kindergarten! We are SO proud of each one of them. Thank you for allowing Mrs. Derbyshire and myself to be a part of their Jack and Jill experience. It was great getting to know each one of them. Thank you for trusting us with your children everyday! Mrs. Derbyshire and myself also want to thank you for the heartfelt cards, gifts and flowers. We read each card together after the kids left the classroom on Wednesday and we both cried! I know personally I do this job because I love working with children and watching all the things that they can accomplish. Please come back and visit us next year because we would LOVE to hear how their kindergarten experience is going (and to get some hugs!) 

Here is a look at our last week together.... 

At the Art Table the kids had the opportunity to make cards for Father's Day or Someone Special in their lives. We also had some "Summer" and "End of School" coloring sheets. 

At the Math Table we had flower counting sheets.

At the Discovery Table the kids got the chance to look at a real-life bird's nest with magnifying glasses and tweezers. We also checked on our plants that we tried growing in the closet (not much was happening) 

At the Writing Table they got a chance to practice writing/tracing a variety of letters. We also had cutting sheets for them to practice as well. 

As a group on Monday we played "Alphabet Bingo" and they LOVED this! Everyone got a chance to pick from the prize box.
