The Last Week of School in Enrichment!

Hi everyone!

This has been an exciting, fun filled, and adventurous year for our Enrichment class! It's been such a pleasure getting to know your children, and all of you! The last day of school is always a rollercoaster of emotions for me. We're sad to be saying goodbye to the wonderful children we've gotten to know so well, but also excited for the future for them! They are all great kids, and we hope to be able to hear about their new adventures in new schools and classrooms! We're so proud of all of them!

Today we released our butterflies that we've been watching grow and change for the past few weeks. Some were ready to fly as soon as we opened the net, and some needed some encouragement (the irony is not lost on me, today of all days).

We also finished our sticker art today! We started the year with a blank rectangle with letters on it that made no sense at all. Now, we have a beautiful picture that the children worked on together, slowly but surely, while learning their letters, and being patient as it all came together!

Thank you all for the kind and generous gifts and cards today! We're lucky to have such an amazing community!

For those graduating, we'll see you in a little while. For those going to camp, we'll see you soon. For those coming back next year, we'll see you in the hallway.
