The Preschool Scoop in 4 Day Pre-K!
Hello Families,
Fall has definitely arrived and the kids have been loving playing outside in the leaves! On Thursday the kids made a leaf pile and some jumped into it while others threw them up in the air. The pure joy I saw on their faces was the best! Please remember to send a coat or sweatshirt everyday. As some of you may have heard from your child we did have to have a sit down talk on Wednesday during recess with Mrs. Lay. We talked about playing appropriate and safe games for school. We also talked about being kind to ALL kids in our classroom so that no one feels left out. We don't expect everyone to be best friends in the class but we do want everyone to be kind to another!
Here is a look at our centers ....
Art: "E" Elephants, "E" Earth (marble painting) & (ripped paper) Apples
Discovery: Alphabet Acorns & the kids got to examine a variety of leaves, acorns and other objects in nature using magnifying glasses.
Math: Number and Shape Scavenger Hunt around the classroom
Writing: worksheets, books and other materials all pertaining to "E"
Dramatic Play: Farmers Market
Sensory Table: All things Fall and Halloween
