Week 10 in Enrichment
Good evening everyone!
There's important information, so please read to the end.
It was a quick week this week, but we packed it full of fun! We're really getting into the spirit of friendship and thankfulness, continuing to share things we're thankful for and adding them to our tree! This week we added Toys and School!
Our book this week was our first non-fiction. We read Life in A Tree by Melvin Berger. We learned all about the parts of a tree, and the many plants and animals that make their home in and around a tree. It even lead to some observations about the tree right next to our playground!
The NEW things in centers this week were...
Yellow Bins- Who lives there? puzzles
Blue Bins- Color matching stickers to the turkey's feathers
Art- Cork painting an empty tree
IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
As we continue with literacy month, please fill out and return your "ice cream scoops". When you do we can continue to fill up our big bowl!
This is a reminder that t-shirt orders and Book-grams are due by this Friday. Please contact Katrina with any questions about those.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out!
I hope you're all having a fun and safe Fall!
